Randox requires an enthusiastic, motivated, and proactive Quality Coordinator to work within the Quality department of Randox Testing Services.


Key tasks and responsibilities:


  • Day to day management of Quality requirement within RTS Laboratories as directed by the RTS Laboratory Management and/or RTS Quality Manager.
  • To maintain accreditations for all RTS sites.
  • Perform internal audits as directed by the RTS Quality Manager and required by the RTS audit schedule or RTS management.
  • Manage and maintain the PT/EQA schemes participated in by RTS including the review and investigation of unexpected results and the preparation of summary reports for the RTS Quality Manager.
  • Manage and review incidents recorded in the laboratory, including initial reviews of incidents raised and close out reviews of action taken.
  • Manage and review NCP's raised or escalated into the RESPOND database.
  • Coordination of changes/improvements within RTS in conjunction with the RTS Business Improvement Manager.
  • Coordination of RTS Q-Pulse training events ensuring that appropriate events are created for RTS staff and competency evidence provided.
  • Responsible for Q-Pulse document control primarily coordinating document reviews and change request process.
  • Deputise at meetings in the absence of the RTS Quality Manager, as appropriate.
  • Monitor quality objectives and KPI's and provide reports for RTS Senior Management, in conjunction with the RTS Quality Manager.
  • Adherence to company Positive work Environment Policies, health and safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.
  • Essential: _
  • A UK science degree qualification or a relevant background in Quality Control.
  • Experience/Awareness of ISO17025/relevant QMS.
  • Personnel management skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • The ability to work methodically and reliably under pressure.
  • Desirable: _
  • Project Management skills.
  • Awareness of workplace drug testing methods.
  • Analysis e.g. HPLC/LC-MS/MS
  • Awareness of Quality Control Trending
  • Experience in a Chemistry/Biology lab.
  • Experience in Quality Management Standards e.g. ISO17025/9001
