Job Description:
As a Storeman, you will play a pivotal role in managing the inventory and logistics for various projects when due for mobilisation this will include the collation of tools, including the selecting of rope access equipment, and the preparation of the relevant paperwork.
You will ensure that all deliveries are received accurately and in a timely manner, maintaining precise records of incoming and outgoing goods.
Maintaining all tools and equipment including the cleaning and maintenance of power tools.Responsibilities:
- Receiving Deliveries: Receive incoming deliveries of rope access equipment, Ropes, Tools.
- Inventory Management: Maintain organized and accurate inventory records using electronic systems or manual logs. Monitor all equipment to ensure all equipment is in good working order.
- Storage: Ensure that all products are stored safely and securely, adhering to proper storage protocols to prevent damage or loss.
- Quality Control: Conduct routine inspections of equipment and tools to ensure product compliance.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with other departments in relation to damaged equipment and tools
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures related to inventory management and workshop operations.
- Inspection of current equipment after use and intermittently.
- Utilising our inhouse system to ID tag all our equipment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a workshop or distribution stores environment.
- Familiarity with handling and storing various types of equipment, including drills, breakers, grinders, and other power tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects, as the role may involve manual handling of bulky items.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional overtime or weekend shifts.
- Computer efficiency with Excel and other similar programmes
Job Types:

Salary:
£19,000.00-£25,000.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
