What is the role?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Site Customer Care Team in Cumbria. The role typically reports to the Construction Director and area Contracts Manager.


The purpose of the role is to assist the site teams in preparing homes for occupation as well as providing a variety of high-quality remedial and maintenance works for customers in their new homes, maintaining high standards of customer experience.


The role will include:


  • Manage and prioritise workloads in order to complete highquality remedial works in a timely manner and in accordance with set SLA's.
  • Provide quality remedial works, ensuring compliance under the Persimmon Pledge and Customer Care Policies and Procedures.
  • Minimise costs associated with remedial works and adhere to the signoff and cost recording policies, identify all contracharging opportunities.
  • Liaise with and monitor subcontractors where appropriate, to complete inspections of reported defects, providing full details of agreed works to both the customer and the site manager/contracts manager.
  • Comply with responsibilities as defined in the Group's HS&E Policy and ensure compliance throughout the team.

What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?

  • Ability to be competent in all aspects of homeowner maintenance, including maintenance of machines and tools
  • Painting and Joinery experience is required
  • PASMA certificate is advantageous but not necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Conversant with Microsoft Office
  • Current CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
  • First Aid qualification would be advantageous
  • Full UK Driving Licence is required
