Description
We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee and support all operations staff including goods in, pick, pack and dispatch.
They will also lead on all operational tasks, and play an active role in the training and development of staff members.
- Oversee and support all operations staff, including goods in, pick, pack and dispatch
- To supervise all operational tasks all operational staff and team leaders
- To monitor and compile reports
- To play an active role in the training and development of all staff
- Ensure effective use of the Warehouse Management System and training users in effective use of the warehouse management system (WMS)
- To follow all internal standard operating procedures (SOPS)
- To support and provide system users and provide training where required
- Maintain effective workflow management of resource and awaiting system tasks
- To play an active and lead role in the delivery of operational activity
- To provide a client focused and professional service at all times
- Effective liaison with the Customer Service department and all relevant departments.
- Carrying out and assisting with all operational activities
- Control and document daily MHE inspection checks.
- To provide assistance where required in the following areas; Maintaining care of customers stock at all time. Consolidation and replenishment of the stock. Ensure there is accurate documentation at all times. Cycle Counting / Stock Takes / Return of stock Ensuring ISO & BRC Quality Standards are met at all times Control of all relevant documents regarding defects and returns
- Deputise for the Group Operations Manager
- Ensure safe operation of MHE and pedestrian equipment and access
- Ensure compliance in all aspects of Health and Safety policy and procedures.
- Good Housekeeping and Working Practices.
- Carry out any additional tasks as directed by your Manager or Directors.
