Job Description:
As a Senior Sustainability Consultant focusing on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), you will play a pivotal role in driving our commitment to sustainable practices.
You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams to assess and optimise the environmental impact of projects throughout their life cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for buildings and infrastructure projects using One Click LCA
- Developing sustainability strategies for clients projects and provide advice on how to improve environmental performance
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to identify sustainable solutions and implement them into the design and construction process
- Conducting research on new sustainability technologies and innovations to enhance our services and offerings to clients
- Building relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of sustainability projects and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in conducting Life Cycle Assessments (LCAs) within the built environment sector
- Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles, green building certifications (e.g., BREEAM, LEED), and environmental assessment methodologies
- Familiarity with LCA software tools and the ability to interpret and analyse LCA results
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to clients and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- A passion for sustainability and a drive to create positive change in the built environment
