BARBERING TUTORS

Location:
HMP Fosse Way, Leicester


Hours:52 weeks per year
- Full time (37.5 hours per week) & Part Time (2 days per week - flexibility with days)

Salary:
Up to £31,000 per annum (Subject to experience) Part time salary would be pro-rata

Apprenticeships:
Development opportunities are available through Apprenticeship standards

IN SHORT**MK College Group is recruiting at the new prison in Leicester, due to open in February 2023. We are now seeking to recruit to two positions at the prison, both for inspiring and creative Barbering Lecturer/Tutor/Teachers to join the Education Team based on-site at the prison.

The Barbering course will be a very popular choice with learners based at HMP Fosse Way. Vocational courses help learners develop not only qualifications but softer skills that can be used in employment upon release. The learners are enthusiastic and keen to develop new skills.

We are looking for experienced industry professionals who have worked within a salon. As a Barbering Tutor, you will be delivering exciting and engaging Certificates in Barbering. We are seeking individuals who possesses Level 3 hairdressing and/or Level 3 Barbering.
