We now have an exciting opportunity for an Events Assistant to join our Business Development department, based in either London or Winchester.

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Supporting the events manager to deliver a varied events programme, with involvement through the whole lifecycle of an event including venue finding, invitations, advance and ontheday planning, making sure everything runs smoothly, gathering and reviewing feedback
  • Managing event logistics
  • Keeping project teams and wider internal stakeholders up to date
  • Preparing collateral (badges, handouts, popup stands etc) and attending events, assisting with set up / set down, registering guests etc.
  • Helping with event reporting and general event administration
  • Working with external agencies and suppliers (venues, caterers, and other suppliers) as well as specialists within the firm (eg design, data, legal and finance)
  • Work collaboratively with the Events Manager to support on flagship events and (once trained), taking ownership of delivering smaller events and the corporate hospitality programme

What skills, qualifications and qualities are we looking for?

  • Strong communication (written and spoken)
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise and organise workload
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to work within a team effectively and collaboratively
  • Previous event experience would be an advantage
  • Partnership or professional services experience desirable

What technical ability do you need?

  • Required: Microsoft office 365
  • Basic understanding of design software would also be useful
