JMC Aviation is working with a leading MRO Organisation based in
Prestwick, looking to recruit an
Avionic Mechanic to join their expanding team.
The
Avionic Mechanic will be responsible for managing, receiving, issuing of aircraft components and associated material to meet engineering requirements.
5/5/4 day shift pattern, 7am - 7pm.

The responsibilities of the Avionic Mechanic will involve:
- Completing routine and non-routine maintenance tasks as directed using the latest approved documentation and procedures.
- Observing and adhering to the company Tooling Policy at all times.
- Maintaining awareness and ensuring best practises are observed for Health and Safety and Human Factors.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed to the required standards.
- Ensuring that you keep your personal work area, hangar bays and facility clean and tidy at all times.
- Notifying the company of any significant findings as soon as possible. Raise a safety report on identifying any hazard or the following of an incident.
In order to be successful in this role, the Avionic Mechanic will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Hold the right to work in the UK
- proof is required as part of our shortlisting process
- A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
- Have extensive knowledge of Base Maintenance activities with hands on working experience
- Good standard of written/ spoken English including the ability to interact at a technical level
- Good Computer literacy with experience and knowledge of Microsoft Word, excel etc

Pay:
£40,000.00-£43,000.00 per year
