First Aid/Security Trainer/ Assessor/IQA
for SIA Security and First Aid course delivery

£28,000 - £30,000 per annum
Training4Employment are recruiting for a customer-focused, qualified and experienced Security Trainer/Assessor who will play a vital role in delivering and assessing various Highfield Qualifications accredited courses within security and first provisions.
You will deliver Emergency First Aid/First Aid at Work, SIA Door Supervisor, CCTV, Security Officer, and if qualified Close Protection courses within the UK.
- Level 3 PTLLS or Award in Education and Training (AET)
- Level 4 CTLLS or Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET);
- Level 5 DTLLS or Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training (DET)/CELTA Cert Ed
- Postgraduate/Professional Graduate Certificate in Education.
Other documents required:
- Assessor/ IQA qualifications.
- Hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licence
- Hold a valid nationally regulated Level 3 First Aid at Work qualification or higher.
- Hold a nationally recognised Level 3 Deliverers of Physical Intervention and a valid Physical Intervention certificate with an SIA approved PI body.
- Current and up to date CPD log.
Knowledge / Skills/ Abilities:
- Teaching experience, particularly with a focus on adult learners
- Knowledge of Health & Safety
- Experience in delivering SIA licence linked qualifications to the highest industry standards.
- Experience in delivering first aid and emergency first aid qualifications to the highest industry standards.
- Experience in managing data for learners including initial assessment, enrolment, and daily registration and ensure the portfolios meet the expectations of examination board
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills verbally and written
- Able to deliver engaging training sessions
- IT Literate
- MS Office, Outlook
- Strong organisational skills
- To be selfmotivated with an initiative in solving practical problems and limited supervision
- Demonstrate a creative and imaginative approach to learnercentred delivery
- Experience in preparing effective written and visual teaching materials in line with course requirements
- Work as part of a team and to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external customers
- Experience of demonstrating a strong commitment to Diversity inclusion
- Excellent pre course and post course administration and organisational skills
- Experience in course design, development and delivery of both new and existing course programmes from start to finish including course materials, presentations, schemes of work and lesson plans
- Work with both internal and external managers daily
- Be able to work to the standards set by the Training Centre and awarding organisations
- Be prepared to deliver training at times to suit client requirements this will mean out of hours on occasions
- Experience in producing IQA reports
- Promoting and upselling our courses talking to learners and prospective clients
- To insure the learners work in and efficient and effective way so as to minimise wastage of materials and resources.
Salary:
£28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
