**Pricing Manager

Salary:Circa £70,000 per annum DOE


Our client is experiencing strong growth in the insurance sector, and as a result, they have a brand-new opportunity as a Pricing Manager, to join their Pricing Team.

You will be responsible for developing and improving the online implementation of theirpricing systems.


The Pricing Manager role has been created to provide credit risk assessment oversight of premium finance product from a pricing and modelling perspective, ensure Client Long Term Value of our business, deliver price optimisation of Add-on products, etc.

You will have a direct report, who you will be given the scope to support and develop.


In order to be successful as a Pricing Manager, you need to have:

  • Depth of financial services industry experience, ideally in a variety of sizes of organisations
  • Good commercial acumen
  • Knowledge of models to support data analysis for credit risk assessment.
  • Experience of working effectively with pricing and underwriting teams
  • Welldeveloped analytical skills (in problem identification and solving).
  • Must be able to work independently and use own initiative to conduct complex analysis
  • Demonstrated ability in Project Management.
  • Experience using R/Python is an advantage
  • Experience using modelling techniques.
  • Consultative, approachable and persistent. Good at probing facts and challenging assumptions.
  • Excellent written communication skills. Must be fluent and confident in spoken communication.
