KS2 Teacher, Doncaster
Due to high demand for teachers in Doncaster, REED Education are currently working with a local primary school who are looking to recruit an upper KS2 teacher to start in January on a long
- term basis. This position is suitable for both experienced teachersand teachers that are just starting their career. The successful applicant must have previous experience teaching or training to teach upper KS2 and must have knowledge of the National Curriculum alongside previous experience delivering SATs preparation andintervention booster groups.

Main responsibilities include:

Planning and delivering lessons around relevant National Curriculum with clear learning objectives focussed on SAT's preparation and achievement
Maintaining uptodate knowledge by attending training days and staff meetings
Ensuring that the pupils are suitably prepared for their transition into Secondary school
Identifying pupils who require additional learning support and working with them on a 1:1 or group basis to raise attainment in KS2 SATs
Assessing and recording each pupil's progress in reference with the school's practice by giving regular feedback and reflection on progress
Managing the behaviour using the school's behaviour policy
