This flexible yet critical role will required working in various roles across the site.
The Operative can expect to be trained in multiple roles and will be wholly responsible for the day-to-day security in that position.
Positions and tasks will vary but the officer can expect to work in Front of House (FOH) operations, loading bay as well as an Officer within one of the buildings or on the Estate (Public Realm).
The role will include working days, Nights, and Weekend shifts and importantly the officer must be flexible and be prepared to accept work when offered.
Our client is one of the largest pedestrianised communities around, with modern offices, retail, food and drink outlets all in one place.
As a Logistics Operative you are an integral part of the team and you can make an impact with your skills to protect, deter and respond to any security matters, whilst providing an exceptional customer service experience.

A typical day in the life as a Logistics Operative:
- Expect to cover multiple different roles day or night depending on the contract.
- All incidents are reported and responded to in accordance with policies and procedures
- Ensure everyone in your area of responsibility behave and work in safe manner
- Maintain an exceptional awareness of security in and around your post, looking out for hostile reconnaissance, suspicious behaviour, or unattended packages (H.O.T). Be prepared to challenge, report or callin support always.
- Book on using the electronic App provided at induction
- Complete all mandatory and contractual training
- Ensure front of house access and egress is always free flowing and that all doors or equipment are working. Keep a close eye on flooring ensuring there is no danger to people.
- Carry out searches if required, Patrols, Access Control, and other reasonable management requests in a professional manner.
- Elevated levels of meet and greet service must be maintained whilst carrying out your usual security functions.
- Proactively work with and for your Property Manager and their team in support of Broadgate
- Ensure required KPI levels are known and always delivered
- Communicate and coordinate through the chain of command

- The ability to communicate with subordinates, colleagues, clients, contractors, and management in the appropriate manner
- Demonstrate the ability to effectively deal with incidents with demonstrable resilience and selfcontrol
- Excellent customer engagement skills with excellent verbal and communication skills
- High level of attention to detail, timekeeping, and ability to prioritise time effectively
