Description
Contract Scotland are working with a leading construction company based in the east of Scotland, who are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Site Manager to join their team.
Our client are committed to investing in their staff, maintaining high levelsof commitment and loyalty, and providing opportunities for growth and advancement.
They are long established in the new build and refurbishment sectors and due to a projected increase in turnover owing to high volumes of repeat business from their clients.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction/refurbishment projects, including programme management, H&S, sub-contractor management and quality control.
You will work closely with project teams to ensure that projectsare completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Engineering or trade background is preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Demonstrable experience managing complex refurbishment projects
- Knowledge of current building codes and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
