Working 4 days on 4 days off in a working week - 12 Hours
Gi Group are recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative for UK's largest automotive business in Kingsnorth, Rochester, ME3 9ND
Due to company success and expansion, we are currently looking to recruit an experienced Yard Operative.

You will be working within their state of the art body shop as a part of their growing team of experts.

As a Yard Operative, you will be moving vehicles around the BCA site safely, from the entry gate, RAC, wash bay, appraisal area and finally parked securely in the sold area.

Your main duties will be:

Barcode all new vehicles on arrival and tag keys.
Electronically Log and remove any valuable items left in vehicle.
Store, move and park all vehicles on site
Maintain a safe driving standard and adhere to speed limits on site at all times. Take care and responsibility of all cars in your care and adhere to site and national speed limits at all times.
Ensure that the Company's health and safety standards and practices are adhered to in the yard & halls so that accidents to vehicles and people are prevented.
Politely refer any issues, queries or complaints to the relevant manager.
Undertake any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met.
Able to follow instructions and work to tight deadlines
Willingness to help other departments out when needed
Able to work alone or as part of a team
Holder of a Full UK Driving licence for 2 year or more and over the age of 21
