Career Teachers have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forest School Leader who is passionate about delivering stimulating, fun education outdoors, in a primary SEND setting in Liverpool.


This fantastic and supportive school in the L9 area of Liverpool are committed to the professional development of all their staff, and they offer a warm, supportive environment for everyone including children, staff, and families to develop their skillsand confidence.


To enable the forest school sessions the school, have a safe, dedicated area where the children and staff can truly enjoy the full aspect of Forest school and the outdoors.

This role is offered as a permanent position and there is a salary of £26,258-£28,341 (pro rata)

The school are keen to hold interviews ASAP

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • A qualification as a forest school practitioner/leader
  • Experience planning for and carrying out Forest School sessions
  • Experience supporting children and/or young people
  • Health & safety awareness
  • Able to commit to full or part time on a weekly basis (term time only)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A DBS on the update service or be willing to get one in process
