The Maintenance department is looking to recruit a maintenance plumber to take on the role of a new works plumber.
The role will undertake planned maintenance and alterations of essential mechanical systems across the diverse building services of the Trust estate.
You will need to have the ability to analyse faults, undertake rectifications and be able to advice on system improvements to ensure continuity and improvement of service.
We are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual who has the ability to prioritise workloads, identify potential improvement within their discipline and be proactive in providing a high level of service to staff, patients and site visitors.
As a new works plumber within the Estates department, you will be responsible for carrying out essential alterations and maintenance of mechanical services within the trusts building portfolio.
Typical duties within your role may include, general plumbing maintenance tasks, installing new kitchen services, shower/bathroom installs, toilet installs, removal of sanitary ware, first and second fix mechanical installations.
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The merger provides an opportunity to reconfigure services in a way that provides the best healthcare services to the city and improves the quality of care and health outcomes that patients experience.
