The Role

As a Customer Sales & Service Advisor within our friendly and driven team, you will play a key role in the success of an expanding local business, ensuring that we continue to offer our award-winning products in the professional and friendly way for which we are renowned.

On a day to day basis you will be dealing with existing policy changes, sales and general enquiries and support the managing partners, all with a 'can-do' and proactive attitude with plenty of enthusiasm and support from the team.

Job Specification
The successful applicant will be expected to undertake a wide variety of tasks including the following:

Fielding the inbound calls for new business and policy updates.

• Prospecting and developing new business lead.
• Outbound general insurance & cross selling to our loyal existing client base
• Identify and execute cross sell leads for Financial Services and Risk Management Services
• Support and aide development of marketing campaigns to increase lead generation
• Maintain own technical knowledge and skills
• Develop productive business relationships with key stakeholders.

Person Specification
Confident, self-motivated & dynamic personality

• Strong relationship building and prospecting skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and take responsibility for a sales target
• Organised, prompt & trustworthy
• Sales experience would be ideal but not essential
• Attention to detail is essential in this regulated industry
• Experience in a regulated industry desirable but not essential

Qualifications
Maths & English GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent)

• Further educational qualifications desirable but not essential

25 days per holiday plus bank holidays - this increases by 1 day per year of service upto 27 days.
