_Macildowie Recruitment and Retention_ have partnered with one of the largest car part suppliers in the UK.

Following a new wave of investment, and some lofty growth plans, our client are now looking to add some firepower to their growing team inNottinghamshire.


This role will suit someone who:

  • Enjoys an all-rounders role
- 'Old-school' negotiating

  • Working alongside internal stakeholders engineering/sales/marketing

Headlines:


  • Growing SME
  • 45k50k salary package, DOE
  • 3 days home, 2 days home

The Role:


  • Reporting directly to the Managing Director.
  • Responsible for purchasing components.
  • Working closely alongside the engineering team.
  • Lead on strategic procurement for your commodity/area of spend.
  • Onboarding new suppliers, and developing lasting relationships with current suppliers.
  • Continuously looking for new ways to source key components.
  • Compile, understand and interpret data which pertains to departmental performance.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor strategies.

Technical Competencies:


  • Has 2/2+ years experience within Purchasing.
  • Experience of working within an SME.
  • CIPS level 4, desirable not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willing, cando attitude.
