Purchase Ledger Clerk
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm

£19,836.00-£25,000.00 per year

Willenhall (In-person)
Responsibilities:
- Process and maintain the purchase ledger with accurate and timely recording of invoices, payments, and expenses.
- Verify and reconcile supplier statements, ensuring all invoices are accounted for.
- Prepare and process payment runs, including checks, BACS transfers, and direct debits.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues with invoices or payments.
- Assist with monthend closing activities related to the purchase ledger.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all financial transactions.
- Provide support to the finance team as needed.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Proficiency in using accounting software.
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or trends.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
