As Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant you will be responsible for carrying out general accounts processing including purchase ledger.

In this role you will be responsible to the Financial Controller.


Key Responsibilities


Undertake regular inputting of all invoices to the Company's SAGE financial system to include matching invoices to existing purchase orders or contracts.

Prepare payments for BACS approval.
Respond to direct telephone enquiries from suppliers relating to payments made, due or outstanding.
Reconcile statements from suppliers to ensure that outstanding payments can be identified and any necessary action taken.
Bank/PDQ reconciliation

The main duties listed above are not intended to be exhaustive and may be revised in accordance with the requirements of the department and the companyHours: 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday (1 Hour Lunch)

Permanent Contract 35 hours per week

Sage: 1 year (required)

Excel essential
