Description

Following a new contract win, we are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join our small but busy HR team at Lodge Service.

This is a varied and interesting role that will suit someone who enjoys working on a range of HR activities from employee relations cases to supporting HR projects and initiatives.

The role provides a great opportunity to develop and to shape the role around any key areas of interest.

Key Responsibilities:
Working closely with managers across the business to provide HR advice and support.

Key role in supporting large TUPE Transfer into the business.


Supporting with day-to-day ER casework advising our managers on full range of cases including disciplinary and grievance, investigations, customer complaints, performance management issues etc.


Supporting activity aligned to HR strategy and HR projects such as reviewing policies, training and development, employee engagement, ED&I and wellbeing.

Ensuring HR processes are followed and providing training where needed

Building relationships with employees at all levels and acting as a point of contact for HR queries

A proven track record in a previous HR/ER Advisory role, in particular experience of dealing with numerous and complex Employee Relations cases,

Demonstrates strong commercial approach and understanding of business needs.

Experience of development and delivery of manager up-skilling

Passionate about customer service and delivering professional HR support to the business.

Capability to establish professional credibility quickly.

Strong time management, organisation and prioritisation skills and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.

Resilient, adaptable and flexible.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills - High quality letter writing is crucial

Ability to communicate effectively across a broad spectrum of managers with varying levels of

Excellent MS office skills

Experience supporting TUPE transfers would be advantageous

Ability to manage own workload, show initiative

Some travel will be required across the UK to support managers, for training and development.

Salary £30k - £40k dependent on experience.
