Do you have experience supporting young people with SEN?

Are you caring individual that is able to manage challenging behaviour?

Are you looking for a fulltime role with an immediate start?
We are currently recruiting for a HLTA in a small independent special educational needs school.

The school is located in the Caterham area and caters for pupils aged 11 to 16 who that experience a range of needs including autism spectrum conditions and associated behaviours.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

Leading in the absence of any class teacher across the school.
Assist the class teacher with carrying out the duties of the school day.
Develop and implement individual plans for pupils,
Understanding and taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the pupils.
Monitoring pupils conduct and behaviour throughout the learning process and intervene to resolve highly complex or very challenging issues and to keep records of these incidents.

From £110.00 per day
