Do you have experience supporting young people with SEN?

Are you caring individual that is able to manage challenging behaviour?

Are you looking for a fulltime role with an immediate start?
We are currently recruiting for a HLTA in a small independent special educational needs school.

The school is located in the Caterham area and caters for pupils aged 11 to 16 who that experience a range of needs including autism spectrum conditions and associated behaviours.

Your roles and responsibilities will include:

  • Leading in the absence of any class teacher across the school.
  • Assist the class teacher with carrying out the duties of the school day.
  • Develop and implement individual plans for pupils,
  • Understanding and taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the pupils.
  • Monitoring pupils conduct and behaviour throughout the learning process and intervene to resolve highly complex or very challenging issues and to keep records of these incidents.

Salary:
From £110.00 per day
