How would you like to be part of the growing success of the YMCA England & Wales, joining as the Communications Officer?


We are looking to recruit a Communications Officer to support a wide variety of communications and engagement activities, with a particular focus on copy and digital media, as well as communicating with internal staff and across the YMCA Federation where necessary.


Working within the busy Policy, Research, Communications and International team, the Communications Officer will play an active role in producing communications and media materials, including supporting different departments with digital output and supporting a new internal communications platform.

Some key areas will include:

  • Support the delivery of YMCA England & Wales' external communication strategies
  • Collect information, stories and case studies from across the Federation and support in promoting them to press
  • Collate and deliver on communication requirements from Retail and Fundraising teams within YMCA England & Wales, and offer support across the wider Federation.
  • Support with the delivery of YMCA England & Wales' new internal communications platform, aiming to revolutionise the way we interact as an organisation.
