Are you an experienced Buyer? Do you have Supplier Management experience? Do you have strong knowledge & experience within a Manufacturing Supply Chain function?

Nine Twenty are delighted to support our Drinks client in their need for a Buyer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Please note that this an onsite based role.

The role

Joining a small but incredibly ambitious business, you will be part of a team responsible for purchasing and maintaining stocks of all direct materials required for a busy manufacturing operation.

In addition, you will also manage supplier quality and NPD

Responsibilities:

Respond to the needs of Production, organising materials procurement, material deliveries as required
Lead both the procurement and supplier quality functions within the site team.
Develop and maintain relationships with supply chain partners.
Support the senior buyer with continuous improvement activities within the supply chain to improve performance and drive down cost
Be part of the planning process for the site
Work with customers and suppliers to ensure our customers receive firstclass service
Create a positive working environment that acknowledges and proactively supports the wider business

Skills required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Previous procurement experience required (min 2 years).
High level of organisation and structure is essential.
HND/ similar qualification in Business Administration or similar Purchasing qualification desirable.
