About the Role:


In our 40th anniversary year, and as we launch our new three-year strategy, our retail team is excited to embark on an ambitious plan to expand and improve our portfolio.

As the Retail Operations Assistant you will provide effective support to the whole of the retail chain. A pro-active and forward thinking individual you will be highly organised and have strong IT skills.

Reporting into the Retail Operations Manager you will be part of the Operations team based out of the Hospice at Whittington.

You'll know how to work to deadlines and understand the importance of team work.

You will recognise the need to recruit volunteers to support the operation and you'll supervise them in their day to day volunteering with us.

The Retail estate includes 21 shops and e-commerce operation with a turnover of approx. £3million which supports the overall income generation strategy.

Care is offered at the hospice's centres in Whittington and Sutton Coldfield as well as in patients' own homes across the region.


We spend around £10million a year providing our specialist services and, with 25% of this funded by the Government, we rely heavily on donations and income generation from the local community.
