We're looking for a Group Reporting Finance Manager to join us in Bradford on a full time permanent basis.


The Group Reporting Finance Manager is responsible for monthly and quarterly balance sheet reporting activities, including ownership of the Accounts Payable to General Ledger reconciliation process, solving validation errors, balance sheet governance, anddelivering accurate Group Reporting.


What will you be doing?

  • Responsible for Balance Sheet governance activities, updating KPIs and presenting results to Accounting Operations Directors
  • Coordination of Quarterly Supplemental Group Reporting, including leading a call with the Director for Central Accounting & Reporting
  • Ownership of the Accounts Payable to General Ledger reconciliation process, including preparing journals at monthend, and working with the Accounts Payable team to clear any reconciling items
  • Responsible for working with stakeholders to resolve validation errors identified during the monthend process, in order to ensure accurate Group Reporting
  • Completion of monthly Sox controls
  • Working with the Senior Finance Manager to support the development of the Group Reporting Financial Accountant
  • Focus on automation explore tactical and strategic automation of existing processes
  • Working on improving processes and managing change following the transition to new Accounting Software in early 202
  • Participation in group projects and adhoc work

We tend to look for people with:

  • Essential_
  • Professional Accountancy qualification (ACA; ACCA etc)
  • Exposure to complex accounting along with experience of working within large corporate structures
  • Experience of working in a complex environment, delivering to deadlines
  • Strong excel skills essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desirable _
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
  • Financial systems skills (e.g. Oracle, Hyperion/HFM)
