As we expand, we're seeking a proactive and organised Administrative Assistant to join our team and support the smooth running of the office.

The Role:

This role reports to the COO and can be arranged as an apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Administrative Support
  • Assisting in the preparation of documentation and reports under the guidance of senior staff members.
  • Handling inbound mail and digitally distributing it to the appropriate individuals or filing it accurately for future reference.
  • Conducting data entry and data cleansing tasks to ensure accurate and uptodate records.
  • Assisting with purchasing activities, following established guidelines and seeking guidance when needed.
  • Updating digital recordkeeping systems and maintaining accurate and organised files.
  • Ad Hoc administrative tasks as and when required
  • Receptionist duties
  • Managing visitor arrivals and departures, ensuring a warm and professional welcome to our office.
  • Answering inbound calls and providing polite and efficient assistance or redirecting calls as necessary.
  • Recording deliveries and making sure they get to the correct person
  • Office upkeep
  • Working with the cleaners to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the office space to create a conducive working environment. This might look like, filling up the coffee machine, filling and emptying the dishwasher, carrying out an office supplies stocktake etc
  • Coordinating and arranging office lunches or meals as required, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all employees.
  • Following the company's data security policies.

Must haves:


  • GCSE grade 4 or above in English and Maths
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in carrying out tasks.
  • Proficient computer skills, including knowledge of G Suite and basic data entry would be desirable.
  • Professional and friendly telephone etiquette.
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fastpaced environment.
  • Positive attitude and a strong commitment to providing outstanding service.
