    Area Sales Engineer Role in Central Midlands

    Sulzer is a leading engineering company with a rich history of innovation.

    The successful candidate will drive our success across the Central Midlands, acting as the face of Sulzer to customers and supporting solutions that meet their needs.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Develop strong connections with existing and potential clients, understanding their unique challenges and creating tailored solutions.
    • Conduct research to uncover new sales leads for electric rotating machinery maintenance, providing market feedback to enhance Sulzer's offerings.
    • Support customers by showcasing Sulzer's innovative products and services to address complex engineering problems.
    • Pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

    Requirements for Success:

    • A proven track record in technical sales with expertise in the sales process.
    • Extensive knowledge of rotating machinery, including pumps, gearboxes, compressors, motors, generators, transformers, etc.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying technical information effectively to various stakeholders.
    • A self-motivated approach with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
    • Residence within the Central Midlands is preferred, ideally in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Rutland, or nearby areas.
    • A Full UK Driver's Licence and willingness to travel within your assigned area.
