Today we're a 400 + strong team (we're thinking of getting matching jackets) who create print and digital products for companies of all sizes - from Google and AirBnB to the guy who makes those amazing prints you found at a craft fair.

Our global HQ is in London, UK, while we also have premises in Dagenham. In the US, you'll find us in Boston, MA, as well as East Providence, RI and Denver, CO.

The Finance team today consists of a team of sixteen spread between our UK (London) and US (Rhode Island and Massachusetts) locations.

The team's primary function is to provide financial guidance and support to all areas of the business.

As a team, we are responsible for all internal and external finance reporting, cash management, company taxes, revenue collections, supplier maintenance and payroll.


As the Accounts Receivable Specialist you will be responsible for leading the day to day operations of the Accounts Receivable function from end to end, ensuring our customers are supplied with invoices, the ledger is maintained, appropriate dunning activities are performed and liaising with our sales team directly to support customer on-boarding and problem resolution.


This position will report to the UK Senior Accountant and provide an exceptional level of support to both internal and external stakeholders, participating in cross-functional meetings, interacting with management and collaborating with the Finance function of MOO.


The AR element of this role will take around 80% of your time with the remaining 20% of your time spent supporting the wider finance function; having exposure to ad hoc month end tasks providing the ability to develop your technical skill sets.


The person we want:


  • Perfect for someone who has a great grasp on the A/R function and can hit the ground running in a self sufficient manner but would like to broaden their exposure and experience.
  • You will have a sound knowledge of accounting principles and experience in operating in a fastpaced environment, working within an energetic team that promotes teamwork and excellence.
  • You will have had exposure dealing with various internal and external stakeholders with the ability to establish a rapport with your business partners and find solutions to problems.

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the day‐to‐day operations of Accounts Receivable function from endtoend
  • Preparing and sending customer invoices based on accounting procedures
  • Processing credit memos and refunds
  • Reconcile A/R to the G/L and maintain accuracy of the Ledger
  • Actively monitor and action dunning procedures to ensure receipt of revenue
  • Prepare weekly/monthly A/R reporting and analysis and present to the UK Senior Accountant and relevant department managers
  • Support cash planning through prompt reconciliation and timely payment allocations
  • Interact with customers to resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
  • Participate in designing and implementing improvements to the underlying processes and systems and maintaining controls

About You:


  • Methodical
  • Must be detail oriented, with strong analytic and problemsolving skills
  • Comfortable working to weekly targets and reporting on these
  • Highly proficient in excel (VLOOKUPS, PIVOTS)
  • Selfdirected and handson, able to work with mínimal supervision while also being very team oriented
  • Strong organisational, written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and procedures and adapt local practices to global standards
  • Flexibility in schedule changes as new projects are assigned in a fast paced environment

Nice to Haves:


  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Experience in multicurrency environments
