We have an opportunity for a Temporary/Relief Night Porter to join our Night team, must be flexible to cover additional nights due to holidays, sickness & busier periods.


The Borough Arms hotel is a destination for business and pleasure with 40 guest rooms, wedding and functions rooms to service.

You will be part of a friendly and welcoming team who go that extra mile for our Guests.


As our Relief Night Porter, you will be personable, professional and have a keen eye for the finer details in your role.

You will work well both as part of a team and on your own and must be reliable.

**The duties and responsibilities include:
- **Ensure all guests are welcomed to the hotel and high levels of customer service are demonstrated at all times.

Check guests in and out and assist with luggage.

Answer telephone in a courteous manner.

Ensure the hotel and external areas remain clean and litter free including emptying of ashtrays.

All public areas to be cleaned and hoovered to a high standard.

Perform regular hotel security and fire walk around.

Carry our room set ups for up coming functions as required.

This is not an exhaustive list but an indication as to the demands of the role.

Experience preferred in a similar position and are passionate about hospitality.

Must be flexible to cover up to 3 or more night shifts per week.

Shift times are 10.00 pm to 8.00 am (unpaid breaks allowed during shift).
