    Description
    Services Procurement Adviser

    Location:
    London Office

    Reports to:
    Head of Procurement

    12 months PAYE contract
    About the Role
Eni is seeking a Services Procurement Adviser to join our Procurement team in London.

The role is responsible for coordinating multi-discipline activities and inputs throughout the pre-award procurement cycle — from the development of enquiry documents, bid evaluation, and pre-award negotiations through to contract execution, implementation, and amendments.

This position requires a commercially minded professional with proven experience in procurement within the oil and gas sector, capable of working collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure compliance, efficiency, and best value in all procurement operations.

    Key Responsibilities
Prepare procurement enquiry documentation and support the tender process.
Undertake formal bid evaluations and coordinate technical assessments.
Participate in pre-award negotiations and support the development of commercial strategies.
Prepare contracts for execution and manage implementation and amendments as required.
Liaise with operations and administration teams to develop appropriate contractual strategies and documentation for tenders and negotiations.
Assess the commercial and contractual risks associated with bids and prepare recommendations for contract awards.
Support the negotiation of terms and conditions, identifying and communicating potential risks and liabilities.
Provide advice on contract interpretation following execution.
Maintain effective communication with suppliers, contractors, and service companies to ensure awareness of market conditions and performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legislative requirements, and the Eni Code of Ethics.
Promote and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards in all procurement activities.
Carry out other reasonable tasks as requested by the Procurement Coordinator or Procurement Manager.

    Qualifications and Experience
Degree qualification in Business, Commerce, or a related field (preferred)
Proven experience in the oil and gas industry
Demonstrated pre-award procurement experience in drilling and operations, EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction), and decommissioning
Strong negotiation skills and experience in contract evaluation
Working knowledge of SAP, electronic tendering systems, and Microsoft Office applications

    Behavioural Competencies
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage changing priorities
Integrity, honesty, and a sound understanding of business ethics
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively in complex environments with multiple stakeholders
Flexible and adaptable approach to work
