About the role


Transition and Exit planning and execution with partner and management of retained operations and support services, together with the management of the relationship and dependencies to the wider VMO2 business.

1) Help manage and govern the integrated joint transition plan, interfacing with incoming and exiting suppliers and VMO2 programme and functions

2) Co-ordinate each Wave (and relevant Stage Gates) of the Transition and Exit Plan with the Transition Team and relevant partners, ensuring each Transition Wave is handed over to the Business Readiness Team at the appropriate time and with agreed criteria in place

3) Interface with technical and operational scope owners to ensure alignment with delivery plans

4) Establish and manage transition and exit reporting and dashboards


Key Responsibilities
Working with the relevant cross-functional team and external partners, the Transformation & Exit co-ordinator is responsible for:

  • Working independently to determine and deliver expert analysis activities and deliverables for large size and complex Business Change projects or programmes.
  • Identifying and work closely with Internal and Partner stakeholders in order to understand business objectives in the Transition and Exit phases, and to support the delivery of solutions to meet business needs.
  • Investigative work to specify effective business processes, practices, procedures, and organisation change.
  • Defining and managing the Transition and Exit Waves (including Stage Gates) to ensure, dependencies & impacts are surfaced & mitigated
  • Planning the analysis approach on a project, programme or work stream within the Transition and Exit plan.
  • Producing requirements documentation to a high standard that meet stakeholder needs, using requirements modelling techniques as appropriate.
  • Reviewing deliverables produced by other Business Analysts on the project or programme and providing constructive feedback.
  • We also need the Transition and Exit coordinator to work across all Work Packages and Waves as required.
  • The role will incorporate alignment with External Partners, Internal Stakeholders, Business Readiness Team, across the Reimagining Services Programme

What We Need from You:


  • Strong leadership, communications and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of working in an environment of change involving people, process, policy and technology
  • Ability to build strong crossfunctional relationships and to work under pressure with different teams and multiple suppliers/ partners
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to take a leadership when necessary
  • Awareness and understanding of VMO2's business and Operations
  • Highly organised and the ability to take the lead when required
  • Ability to interpret and act on complex sets of data and drive a positive outcome
  • Advanced Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • Familiarity with frameworks to capture requirements, RACI models, or capture change impact assessments
  • Delivery focused with a passion for flawless execution
