In a nutshell:

This hands-on role will see you supervising a team of friendly, experienced HR Administrators, who are first point of contact for HR, payroll and benefit queries.

Also, providing valuable insight of transactional impact of various planned projects and initiatives to the wider HR team.**:

What you'll be doing day to day:
Together with living and working in the beautiful South West England, no two days will ever be the same.

  • Supervise a small team of HR Administrators, providing direction, support and guidance as well as assisting with the delivery.
  • Supervise and deliver the highvolume administration processes across the entire employee lifecycle, delivering with accuracy.
  • With input from relevant stakeholders including the HR team, and line managers, continually improve HR transactional processes currently carried out across HR and the wider business.
  • Identify and implement changes to centralise, maximise efficiency, effectiveness, and end user experience.
  • Feed into the wider HR team to understand and scope the transactional impact of any planned projects and initiatives
  • Approve, review, and sign off the monthly employee payroll.
  • Provide detailed analysis of statistical information to support the business decision making process and People plan activity

About you:


  • Knowledgeable in HR processes and payroll
  • Experience of managing/supervising a team of HR administrators with an understanding of how to adapt style and approach to the needs of others
  • Ability to work autonomously on own initiative
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and passion for accuracy
  • A collaborative, team player with an enthusiastic, cando approach
  • Aptitude for process mapping, simplification, and improvement
  • Strong working knowledge of and ability to use HR and payroll systems
  • Client focused with an understanding of how to deliver outstanding customer service and how to manage and influence internal relationships effectively
  • Solutionorientated, persistent, emotionally resilient and determined whilst remaining diplomatic and patient
  • Advanced IT and digital skills
