Job Summary:

Hutchinson's PVC Solutions is a leading manufacturer of industrial partitions, and we are seeking a dedicated and motivated Factory Operative to join our team.

As a Factory Operative, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, contributing to the production of high-quality industrial partitions.

Your responsibilities will include operating machinery, performing assembly tasks, and ensuring the smooth flow of production operations.

Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of industrial partitions, following standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Perform assembly tasks, including cutting, shaping, and joining PVC materials to create partition components.
Follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate and precise assembly of industrial partitions.
Measure and inspect components for quality and compliance with specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of production tasks.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of raw materials and notifying supervisors when replenishment is needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Report any equipment malfunctions, defects, or safety hazards to supervisors for prompt resolution.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for optimizing production efficiency and quality.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and adherence to work schedules.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet production targets without compromising quality.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed.

Salary:
£12.50-£14.00 per hour
