    We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Older Adult Mental Health Service. The successful candidate will have the following key responsibilities:

    1. Deliver compassionate care and support to older adults experiencing mental health difficulties, upholding their rights and promoting equality.
    2. Contribute expertise to shape and transform specialist mental health care pathways for our aging population, ensuring high-quality services that meet their unique needs.
    3. Add value to our workforce development efforts, supporting the delivery of psychologically informed practice in response to changing population demographics.
    4. Oversee and coordinate the provision of high-quality, highly specialist psychological services across the older adult mental health service, encompassing community and inpatient settings.
    5. Cultivate clinical, professional, and managerial governance responsibility for psychological practitioners, ensuring the highest standards of practice.
    6. Assess, develop, and implement innovative psychological interventions, including assessment, formulation, intervention, evaluation, consultation, and teaching.
    7. Promote clinical excellence by delivering highly specialist supervision to psychologists, therapy practitioners, and non-psychology staff, identifying and addressing learning and training needs.
    8. Exercise autonomy within professional guidelines, policy, and procedures, governing systematic governance of psychological practice within the service.
    9. Collaborate with the Head of Service and Consultant Psychologist to design, implement, and coordinate service delivery and improvement projects across the service, aligning with strategic priorities.
    10. Bring expertise and skills in various psychotherapeutic modalities, applied clinical risk management, suicide prevention, risk management, care, and treatment pathways, reflecting the service's focus on alignment with delivery priorities.
