he Vacancy
We are looking a Head of Marketing to join our team, reporting to the Director of External Affairs. You will be responsible for the Marketing Team, including the Deputy Head of Marketing and Marketing Officers. You will be responsible for all aspects ofTheatre Royal Plymouth's marketing, and ensure that it engages audiences and supports the organisation's strategic objectives,


Key responsibilities:


  • Managing the Theatre Royal Plymouth's marketing output, delivering highly effective campaigns
  • Contribute to audience development plans, so that these meet business plan objectives
  • Plan, develop and deliver the marketing and digital strategies, using a mix of different communication and marketing tools, including digital and social media
  • Oversee the daytoday running of the marketing campaigns and report on their performance
  • Use insight tools, including our CRM, to work with the Head of Insight and Revenue Management and enhance the patron journey
  • Identify and maximise opportunities to generate additional revenue
  • Liaise with external and internal companies regarding campaigns, artwork and performance
  • Will have strong commercial and financial awareness, such as budget management
  • Be an established manager, committed to ongoing professional development of themselves and their teams
  • Excellent Project Managing skills, and be able to access the needs of stakeholders and deliver to deadlines, whilst having an imaginative and enthusiastic approach to finding and testing creative marketing ideas
