Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Production Build Technician to join a busy manufacturing team in Royston.

As the Production Build Technician, you will be part of the friendly production team responsible for the hands-on assembly, wiring or testing of products.

Responsibilities:

Work hands-on as part of the production team to mechanically assemble products
Assembly may require some wiring and testing of the product
Follow a defined process accurately
Work within the Production Engineering team and other internal functions to continuously identify design, process and efficiency improvements
Work as part of the team to ensure work is completed to required timescales, output and quality targets

Requirements:

Experience of working in a technical manufacturing, production or assembly environment is essential
Knowledge in mechanical assembly techniques and understanding of mechanical fault finding
Ability to read and understand basic mechanical drawings
Be able to fit and route wiring harnesses
Understanding of how to inspect and identify faulty components against a drawing
Experience of working in a cell-type manufacturing, commissioning, test environment is desirable
