Due to company growth we have opportunities for Response Consultants to join our Training and Consultancy Team.


Ambipar Response is a multidisciplinary environmental incident response, consultancy and training organisation that responds to, and prepares clients for oil, chemical, and HNS incidents.

Ambipar Response has a wide range of national and international clients, in the transport, chemical, shipping and oil and gas industries.


The role will entail project management and delivery of preparedness consultancy and supporting training projects such as, preparation and development of oil spill contingency plans, environmental risk assessments and readiness audits, oil spill response and incident management exercises.

Ambipar Response encourages our consultants to be practitioners, and the role will entail supporting our incident response activities either responding within an incident management team or providing technical guidance during a response.

An element of the role will involve interfacing with Ambipar Response's current client base and developing further opportunities for expanding our services.

Regular training and career development opportunities will be offered throughout your employment with Ambipar Response.

  • At least 3 years' relevant experience;
  • An understanding of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, Incident Command System and Emergency Management Frameworks;
  • Experience in document production, quality assurance and control;
  • Experience in/knowledge of pollution response;
  • Experience in delivering training and workshops;
  • Experience in undertaking environmental audits and site risk assessments;
  • Experience in developing incident management exercises (desirable);
  • Experience and/or willingness to undertake operational activities;
  • A valid UK driving license;
  • An in date Passport;
  • Have good written and verbal English language communication skills (fluency in a second language is advantageous, but not necessary);
  • Strong presentation, verbal, and visual delivery skills;
  • Flexibility to facilitate remote, office and onsite working when required;
  • Ability to travel within the U.K and internationally.

Salary:
£30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
