Shawcor Inspection Systems design and manufacture customised Digital Radiography and Computed Tomography turnkey non-destructive test (NDT) solutions and equipment for blue chip organisations is seeking a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join theirteam in Norfolk.

You will receive a salary of £25,000 plus enhanced employer pension contributions, 25+8 days of annual leave, life assurance, employee assistance programme, shopping discounts, Friday afternoons off
As the Graduate Electrical Design Engineer at Shawcor you will:
No specific experience is required as this will be a developmental role.
Here at Shawcor we are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer with the following:

  • A relevant electrical / electronic engineering qualification
  • degree / level
  • Understanding of design concepts for controls systems and PLC based system design.
  • Understanding of the importance of safety systems.
  • Versatility to find solutions to a wide range of engineering challenges.
  • The motivation and desire to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, with ability to professionally deal with all levels of colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to pass government screening standards.
