Fox Morris are working with London Borough of Ealing Council in relations to finding a Older People Support Worker to start work ASAP

Responsibilities

To actively support customers with advanced Dementia with challenging behaviours and dual diagnosis such as Parkinson's and other physical disabilities.
To actively seek ways of supporting the needs of customers with dementia and complex needs to live independently, including those with challenging behaviour.
To support and work closely with the management team in organising and developing appropriate activities in order to provide a day opportunities programme, which supports and enables customers, to achieve and maintain independence, health and wellbeing within their chosen lifestyle.
To actively support and enable opportunities for creativity, selfexpression, mental stimulation, community presence and participation, physical rehabilitation and other activities as may be deemed necessary for individuals.
The post holder must at all times carry out his or her responsibilities with due regard to the councils' equal opportunities policy.

You will be required to work Monday-Friday (9:00-5:00pm). This is based on a 6 month contract and the pay negotiable.
