About the job you're considering:

**We don't really have a typical day or typical project at Capgemini but the one thing which is certain about what you will do is that it will be focused on our clients and their success. Our clients expect us to be leaders in delivering value from Intelligent Industry, giving them advice, working on proof-of-values, and delivering industrialised solutions. The role requires you to act as the primary contact for the technology solution with the client's senior leaders and stakeholders.
**You will have in-depth expertise in Intelligent Industry (Industry 4.0) physical and digital transformation, covering a broad range from science, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and disposal topics. You'll be familiar with enablers like data collaboration, cloud, 5G/EDGE, IT-OT, and IoT. A broad working knowledge of platforms and key systems such as PLM, ERP, MES, EAM, and MRO is desirable so that you can tell an integrated story across the solution landscape.

You will need to closely collaborate with the other areas of Capgemini both adjacent market units and delivery units to create and integrate compelling Go to Market offerings for the MALS sector, shape new opportunities and respond to customer demand and competitive tenders. You will need to work closely and collaboratively with our existing solution partner network as well as help to develop new opportunity, sales, and revenue driving relationships.

Your role:


Business Development & Sales Pursuits

Deliver on targets for sales and revenue within the MALS Market Unit,:


  • Develop and sustain the pipeline of opportunities for the MALS Market Unit,:

Build and maintain trusted relationships both internally, with account execs, and externally with key customers,:


  • Co-ordinate and lead (where appropriate) on Intelligent Industry sales bids into MALS customers,:
- **Analyse, shape, and lead pursuit responses for Intelligent Industry opportunities. This will include analysing requirements, solutioning, estimating and developing winning proposals.

Thought Leadership & Capability Development

Build and maintain go to market offerings for the MALS Market Unit which build on the core portfolio offerings within the CoEx and from other delivery units both in the UK and globally,:


  • Forge excellent links with partners and vendors with a focus on MALS to ensure that Capgemini always provides a leading point of view,:
- **Deliver compelling, confident presentations and thought leadership collateral across client pursuits and external / internal Intelligent Industry activities to further develop our eminence in the market,

Delivery Oversight

Act as technical advisor and "critical friend" to clients, whilst providing thought leadership in emerging technologies,:


  • Work collaboratively with consultants in MALS teams, providing effective delivery oversight for the:

Intelligent Industry narrative,:

Support members of the team in delivery to ensure their effective development,:


  • Support the timely de-risking and completion of projects in alignment with commercial goals,:

Work with clients to demonstrate solutions, answer questions regarding capabilities and:


  • requirements and work to resolve issues that arise

Your skills and experience:

Credibility with gravitas to develop and build senior/board/CXO level client relationships whilst demonstrating strong leadership and possessing excellent interpersonal skills,:


  • Strong business development background for technology-based solutions with a focus on new sales,:

Good experience in a mixture of manufacturing, automotive or life sciences industry sectors,:


  • You will have experience with leading distributed teams to scope, scale, design, build and test solutions that are then deployed nationally and ideally globally,:

Proven client relationship skills,:

  • Good knowledge and experience of the impact current and future technology can have on organisations,:

Experience of cloud and cyber security journeys for clients,:


  • Experience of strategic thinking and roadmap planning for significant organisations,:

  • Experience of working with C-Suite, directors, and/or senior technical leaders in significant organisations,:

TOGAF certified or equivalent is an advantage.
