Learning Support Assistant - Full-Time - Harrow:

Primary/Secondary SEND School
Based in Harrow
Fulltime

We are currently looking to recruit a Learning Support Assistant to work on a full-time basis starting in September in an SEND School situated in Harrow.

You will be supporting pupils with different SEND needs such as Severe Learning Difficulties, Complex Needs,Autism and ADHD. Experience in supporting pupils with SEND needs is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

We are looking for individuals that are dedicated to helping children of different age groups and have the ability to adapt to their individual needs.

Responsibilities:

Supporting children or young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities
Willingness to assist with personal care if needed
Engage and support pupil's learning and development
Supervising pupil's behaviour and managing them when needed

Job Requirements

Experience in supporting children or adults with learning difficulties or disabilities is desirable but not essential
You must be comfortable with dealing with disruptive behaviours
Available 5 days a week and able to commit to at least 14 months
Willing to learn new skills and happy to complete training
