**Support Worker

Fraserburgh and surrounding area AB43**
Permanent contracted hours and relief hours available:£10.90 per hour**This is an excellent opportunity for a Support Worker to come on board and work with one of the people we support. This is supported living and caring for people in their own home.

The Support Worker role is to work with a group of individuals who may have learning disabilities, mental health problems, autism, behaviours of concern, physical disabilities and sensory difficulties.

The job involves support with personal care, medication administration, managing finances, housework and social activities. Documenting of all of the above and keeping care plans up to date.

Drivers preferable with access to own car but not essential. Some service will require staff to have a current UK driving licence.

Posts can be full or part time but will be shifts that include evenings, weekends and public holidays including Christmas and New year.

Hours of work vary from shifts that may be 2-3 hours or up to 14.5 day shifts.

waking night shifts are also available 10pm to 7.30am, with slight variations, can be 9.30pm start or 8.30am finish for 2:1 support for moving and handling.

We deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in shared supported living properties and individual tenancies.

Real Life Options is a registered charity currently going through a period of growth, and we are continuing to search for permanent contracted Support Workers who really want to make an impact on the lives of the people we support.

The role
You must have the ability to follow detailed support plans in order to better enable the people we support.

Previous experience is desirable for this position although full training will be provided.

A DBS is required for this role.

Real Life Options offers flexible employment opportunities.

This role will include shift working, 12 hour shifts Monday to Friday from 7:30am, to also be flexible with days and with some weekend work.

Hourly rate £10.90 for day and night shift. Paid training with shadow shifts
