The London Borough of Merton's Library Service has recently received the exciting news that it has been awarded funding by Arts Council England to become a National Portfolio Organisation (NPO).

The funding will be used to significantly increase the cultural offer through libraries by commissioning high quality artists to deliver innovative activities and events.

A particular focus will be on increasing the cultural offer in the east of the borough and ensuring that every resident has access to high quality cultural opportunities.

As Culture & Creativity Officer you will be responsible for leading the new offer and setting up the governance arrangements including engaging with a wide range of stake holders.

Project management skills are required along with experience of managing grant funding.
