Funeral Director
Brighton
Up to £35,000 depending on experience
Full Time - Monday to Friday, with some on call rotas
A funeral director is required for Hunters' friendly client, a long-established independent funeral company.
This position requires a high degree of professionalism and integrity and an ability to deal with situations calmly and with tact.
Our Client expectsa high level of commitment and loyalty and the Funeral Director may be expected to work outside working hours if circumstances arise.
Funeral Director Responsibilities
- Oversee the smooth day to day running of all aspects of the Funeral business across all branches
- Working closely with your team to ensure the company standards and compliance are always met on and off site
- Ensure the client's needs are always met, helping them to understand to choose the best products to meet their individual needs and budget
- Organise and lead the team on the Funeral ceremony, making sure all necessary preparation and information is understood.
- Assisting with all aspects of conducting, driving and carrying the deceased when needed
- Ensuring all staff understand their job roles and have met the relevant training required and completed all supporting documentation
