An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an excellent care home based in County Antrim, Belfast area.

This care home has a 24-hour dedicated nursing dementia care team trained in the complexities of looking after those living with dementia or other memory issues.

To be considered for this position, you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.

Key Duties:

• Lead a team of care staff to deliver exceptional care.
• Produce well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments, with an understanding of regulatory frameworks.
• Maintain accurate documentation and resident records whilst incorporating the use of modern technology.
• Oversee all aspects of medicine management on your shift in accordance with company policies and current legislation.
• Make decisions in a timely manner.
• Utilise your clinical skills to provide guidance and support to all team members.
• Support, guide, teach, and mentor others in line with the NMC Code, following its guidance at all times.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• The ability to lead a team, analyse problems, and propose solutions or improvements.
• Able to communicate effectively and develop professional relationships.
• Understand and effectively use IT and communication systems required for the role.
• Respectful of the values, views, and needs of others.
• Able to work under pressure and prioritise workload.
• Able to show a can-do attitude always.
