An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mental Health Act (MHA) Administrator to join our team in the MHA Department at Broadmoor Hospital.

The Mental Health Act is the legal framework that determines how we support people who are detained and ensure they are safeguarded.

This is an interesting and varied role for someone who is experienced in delivering robust systems and processes, has a keen eye for detail.

The role of Mental Health Act Administrator is extremely important, both for our patients and the smooth running of the hospital, ensuring compliance with the MHA 1983, amendments to the act and the MHA Code of Practice.

This calls for precise methods of work and attention to procedures to ensure adherence to statutory time limits and other requirements, national standards and Trust policies and procedures.
