Zone Creations is a world class multidisciplinary design and fabrication company founded in 1999 working in the luxury good sector. In addition to holding a Royal Warrant, Zone Creations works with some of the world's best known brands including Tiffany & Co., Boucheron, Dewar's, William Grant,Diageo, Bacardi, Pernod Ricard, Macallan, Burberry, Bremont Watches and Silent Pool, to name a few. Operating from its own facilities it is proud to employ over fifty highly skilled makers, who design and manufacture luxury goods for its customers. It's products range from small batch luxury packaging to custom designed furniture and one-off pieces commissioned for contemporary artists and leading luxury brands.


The business was established, is owned and run by its founders Kevin Self and Jamie Hale; who put innovation, sustainability and a great reputation at the heart of all they do.

During the last 23 years Zone Creations has created and made a broad range of amazing products for its customers through innovation and advancing the field of material science.

Today this experience has seen a focus on the development of sustainable high-end packaging for luxury brands and distillers.

Each project, often multiyear, has various phases, planning, design, fabrication, quality control and continual improvement, all of which managed through production by the Operations Manager and Production Coordinator.

Responsibilities include:


  • Manage data collection and KPI's reporting to reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors and when necessary, adapt scope, timelines achieve maximum benefit
  • Liaise with Project Management team and QC Manager to identify and define project requirements, scopes, and objectives
  • Ensure all parts of assigned project are processed, organised, and progressing according to predetermined timelines and dates. Flag problems to Operations and Project Manager
  • Report project risks to delivery schedule or quality to the Operations and Project Managers with reference to project work plans and quality control documentation
  • Assign roles and tasks to production team members, based on individual strengths and abilities
  • Build the skill sets of production team members and capture overall learnings for the company
  • Partner with all Departments to improve production efficiency
  • Work with HR and Project Managers to ensure departments activities are H&S compliant
  • Machine sign off for staff and run workshops to induct and develop skills
  • Allocation of factory space and reorganization when required
  • Escalate technical issues to Heads of Department for analysis and help, to ensure a quick, efficient, and permanent solution
  • Collecting and documenting all Process Improvement Opportunities and feeding back to staff and management

Essential Skills & Requirements:


  • Proven Production Coordinator experience in packaging, manufacturing or fabrication
  • Good communication skills and team player
  • Previous experience of managing a teams and ability to inspire and motivate
  • Business standard of written, verbal and numeracy skills
  • Ability to coordinate projects with a quick turnaround and long multiyear rollouts
  • Great time management and able to work to a deadline across multiple projects
  • Ability to problem solve, prioritise and multitask whilst working to agreed deadlines
  • Attention to detail, innovative and flexible
  • MS Office suite and generally IT proficient
  • Knowledge of, or experience in reading production drawings would be useful
  • Able to work independently, proactively and selfmotivated
  • Resilient and interested in finding solutions

Salary:
£26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
