Training Officer - Burton-On-Trent, United Kingdom - Platform Childcare
Description
Organisation of induction days- Deliver induction training and mandatory refresher training
- Training delivered from head office and other locations
- Provide consistently high quality training at all times in line with national legislation
- Work independently using own initiative
- Ability to work as a team
- Coordinate and develop onboard training for new employees
- Ensure all relevant administration and IT system information is completed and processed as required
- Maintain effective and accurate filing systems
- Maintain occupational competence in all key areas in accordance with national guidelines
- A strong communicator our trainer will possess an ability to use systems and IT to deliver training and will be skilled in presenting and delivering training to mixed ability groups.
- Ensure effective course evaluation and feedback is monitored, communicated and acted on where appropriate
- Writing new training material incorporating any new up to date legislation.
- Working to Key Performance Indicators, company remit & growth plans.
- Producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations
- Carrying out specific projects and research
- Excellent time management with effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Travelling to homes as and when required.
- Conduct training needs analysis whilst monitoring and evaluating certain aspects of the business.
- Evaluate and design training interventions in line with the identified needs within Head Office.
- Up to date approaches with regards to training functions. Utilising new innovative and creating methods of delivering training
- To work closely with other business areas within the company to identify opportunities for collaboration
- Write and deliver regulatory training in accordance with business strategy
- Write marketing material
- Any other duties required
Demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and ethics, working cooperatively with Platform Managers, head office staff, parents, and looked after Children.
Desirable skills/experience:
- A full UK driving licence and unrestricted access to a vehicle.
- PTTLS/QCF qualification or equivalent.
