Forklift Driver - Dayshift

Come and join our friendly warehouse team as a forklift driver, where we can offer you a permanent contract in a fast-paced environment, with training and development opportunities for progress.


Salary:
£25,000 per annum


Responsibilities of the role:

Plan, organise and control the receipt, storage and dispatch of goods.
Ensure incoming goods are checked against delivery notes prior to unloading, sorted correctly and placed safely.
Ensure outgoing goods are picked according to the product description and quantity.
Communicate delivery of incoming goods to Stock Control Team, for accurate record keeping.
Operate the forklift vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, maintaining standards of cleanliness and security.
Adhere to quality control procedures of incoming and outgoing goods, reporting any noncompliance to management.

We are looking for applicants who have:
Forklift license and experience in a similar role.
2 A-C GCSE grades, in English and Mathematics, or equivalent qualifications.
Good communication skills.
Ability to use initiative.
A professional attitude, with regards to punctuality, appearance and general manner towards staff and customers
